First, you will be enrolled for the New Jersey State Firefighting course or EMT course (unless you are already certified through the state). You will be issued a pager and a set of turn out gear and/or duty uniform and given the department Administrative Policy, our policies and procedures. The members of the Fire Division meet on Thursday evenings for work detail. The members of the EMS Division will be assigned to a duty crew.
